About BMI and eligibility
In most countries, prescription weight loss medications are approved for adults with:
- • BMI of 30 or higher
- • BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related condition (type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnoea)
