Insurance coverage reality
Foundayo was FDA approved April 1, 2026 — very new. Insurance companies are still adding it to formularies. Many plans may not yet cover it, or may require prior authorization. Start with LillyDirect self-pay if insurance denies. Medicare does NOT cover for weight loss alone, but DOES cover for heart disease prevention if you have obesity plus existing cardiovascular disease.
